Why choose contract programming? Delivery time is reduced by reducing the time to program allowing a quicker turnaround time to the machine. This effectively reduces your organizations manpower and resource costs.
Our services include CNC programming; documentation; tool & fixture design; solid modeling; drawings; and consulting services to implement process templates, tool libraries, feed & speed data, and Lean manufacturing. In addition, we can help apply user-defined functions to automate the machining and programming process.
With an emphasis on a quality product, we apply trustworthy checks to ensure machine code is efficient and error free. Using Vericut Machine Simulation applying kinematics to the final g-code ensures a safe, reliable, and accurate end product.
Most estimates are cost based upon hours to program. Quotes can be delivered in as quickly as one day.
Owner James Gordon
I began my career in the aviation industry in the late eighties with a local manufacturing firm in Wichita, KS where I worked as a machine operator for six years.
I work on Mazak machines with Mazatrol Conversational Software. In 1996, I accepted a programming apprentice position with a new company, where I continued to work with Mazatrol Software and was trained in Camax Command Programming software.
In 1999, I began working with CATIA V4 Part-Design. In 2001, I began using CATIA V5 software and immediately moved into a management position where I would oversee a Programming Department with direct reports. This was instrumental in the implementation of the new technology and ensured the forward growth of the Company. In 2007, I accepted a position as a Programming Manager at another local Company who was currently using CATIA V4 and needed an experienced Programmer to migrate the Programming, Engineering, and Quality departments to CATIA V5 Software. I was the focal point for the implementation process which included training and documentation.
In late 2012, I was ready for a new professional adventure and began my personal business, Sharp Edge, where I hope to give back to the community in many ways and help Wichita to continue to be World-Class city delivering quality planes and parts to the Aviation Industry.
